This script
is designed for your very first call to your prospect.
Make sure!
1. Your only expectation is to qualify this lead prior to
taking to the next level
2. Be professional. Kids screaming, dogs barking, etc. are
not professional
3. Be confident. Know that what you have is worth a great
deal, so don’t give it away
4. Get through the bad calls quickly
5. Green means GO! If the prospect responds
favorably, stick with green text
6. Red means STOP! If the prospect responds
negatively, read the red text
7. Purple means WHAT NOW. Purple text
will provide you with direction
8. If at any time the prospect gets ugly, mean, belligerent,
read the following: “Sorry to
have disturbed you Bill, I will remove you from my entrepreneur
list. Have a great day.”

Hello ____________, this is ____________________ and I am
following up with you in regards to your interest in a marketing
position with (your company) Do you have a couple of minutes
right now to answer a few questions for me?

provides them with a simple way to view your business, you
can use that. If you prefer, you can three way them in to
a pre-recorded message or a conference call. The bottom line
is to strike while the iron is hot and schedule the follow-up.
